FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED SINCE 1984

Seniors helping seniors,
one home at a time.

Suzanne and Michael Claxton, founders of Blind Imagination

Our Founders:
Suzanne & Michael Claxton

In 1984, Suzanne and Michael set out to transform homes with an eye for design and the friendliness that native Texans offer to everyone.

Four decades later, the pair are designing for their own generation. Every recommendation we make has been pressure-tested by people who live with the results: lighting you can actually read by, thresholds that don’t catch a toe, seating that is easy to rise from and still beautiful enough for company.

Kim Fulton, Operations

Kim grew up in the studio — measuring windows after school, learning that a good design decision is one a family can live with for twenty years. Today she runs operations, from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.

Because we are a family, we plan the way families do: for right now, and for whatever may come. That means a guest room that can become a caregiver’s suite, a bath that can accept a bench later, a hallway wide enough that no one has to think about it.
